Partners
in Hope:
Transforming
Lives Together
For over 30 years, we’ve supported families across the
UK, raising millions to provide life-saving treatments,
therapies, equipment, and home adaptations for
disabled or seriously ill children. Our mission is clear:
ensuring no child’s health is compromised due to lack
of resources or support. However, balancing the needs
of individual families with the sustainability of our
charity is a unique challenge. Tree of Hope operates as
an umbrella organisation, helping families fundraise for
their child’s healthcare needs, while also requiring funds
to sustain our core operations.
Introducing ‘Partners in Hope’
To address this challenge, we created Partners in
Hope, a fundraising initiative that supports both the
families we serve and the sustainability of Tree of Hope.
Launched as part of our three-year strategy, Bridging
the Gap, this initiative focuses on expanding our reach
to ensure more children across the UK can access the
support they need. Our goal is to help families secure
life-changing healthcare faster and with less stress.
Partners in Hope is about building meaningful
partnerships with corporate organisations. These
partnerships create dedicated funds for children’s
healthcare while also supporting Tree of Hope’s
operating costs. Through this initiative, we aim to:
• Ease the Burden on Families: Providing immediate
access to funds allows families to focus on their
child’s wellbeing instead of prolonged fundraising.
• Increase Accessibility: Not all families have the
resources or networks to fundraise. Dedicated
funds ensure that those who need help most are
reached.
• Ensure Sustainability: Corporate partnerships
contribute to our operational costs, enabling us to
sustain and grow our services.

a way to ful昀椀ll their Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Governance
(ESG) objectives while making a direct impact.
Hope in the Home: Our First Initiative
Our 昀椀rst project under Partners in Hope is ‘Hope in
the Home’, which launched in October. This initiative
focuses on funding essential home adaptations and
equipment to make homes safe and accessible.
Why Home Adaptations?
• Growing Need: Many families struggle to fund
home adaptations, as local funding rarely covers
the full cost of making homes accessible.
• Strategic Partnerships: By partnering with
industries like construction, we can create tailored
relationships that align with this cause.
Building Success
• Strong Case for Support: We’ve used research,
family stories, and data to demonstrate the urgent
need for home adaptations.
• Industry Feedback: We re昀椀ne our approach
through feedback, ensuring it aligns with corporate
values and priorities.
• Visibility at Key Events: Engaging with
professionals at industry expos has helped us build
connections and spark interest.
Looking Ahead
The road ahead may be challenging, but we believe
Partners in Hope has the potential to transform lives.
In a year’s time, we hope to share headlines like: “Tree
of Hope and the Construction Industry Unite to Bring
Hope in the Home to Families Across the UK.” Together,
we can make this vision a reality.
